Come to play and be prepared to stay.

Welcome to Tree Island Bed and Breakfast!  We are on the central east coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.  Our home is in the beautiful Comox Valley, overlooking Sandy Island Marine Park (locally known as Tree Island) and the Salish Sea at Baynes Sound, with spectacular views of the coastal mountains. Our B&B is the perfect accommodation for you whether you are coming to relax by the ocean or ski and snowboard on Mount Washington.

This is our own quiet refuge – and we are happy to share it with others who are exploring this very special part of the world.   We take pride in creating a warm, welcoming experience for our guests.   We want your time at our B&B to be memorable and thoroughly delightful.  We’ll be sure to do what we can to make you feel right at home here.  Settle in with the ocean view from the deck, take a walk in our gentle water-front neighbourhood, peek into the pottery gallery on site here, sleep soundly on our pillow-top mattresses, visit the beach at sunrise (or sunset) and of course, enjoy breakfast!   Eagles visit us regularly, as do sea lions in the spring.  Get your camera ready!

The Comox Valley offers an abundance of local fruit, veggies, dairy, fish and meats. Our new vegetable garden contributes too!  We love to cook, and use farm-fresh produce as much as possible in our homemade breakfast treats.  We make you the kind of big breakfasts that send you well on your way for a day of hiking or skiing, sailing or kayaking, sightseeing or whale watching, fishing or cycling, taking in the Vancouver Island Music Festival or the Filberg Arts Festival.

Cori and Alice are your hosts and delight in the adventures of owning a B an B.  Our home is wheelchair accessible on two levels, GLBT friendly and non-smoking.  While we would like to be open to all guests, Sage and Ashiko are our resident cats and Pippin and Coltrane are semi-resident dogs, so regretfully we cannot invite other animals into our home.

Do join us, because we love to share this great part of the world!   Travel well.

We are your hosts Cori and Alice. Cori is a potter with her studio right here on site and Alice is a writer and activist. We are extraordinarily fortunate to call the Comox Valley our Home. It just seems selfish, not to share our piece of ocean paradise with people just like you. LGBTQ are most welcome here.

Take a look at our Rooms. Send us a note or call us to check on availability. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to this magical place we call home. Watch the eagles soar over the ocean while eating breakfast from our deck or our dining room. Choose between our SUNRISE and SAGE guest rooms. You'll love it here!
