Getting to Tree island Bed and Breakfast is quite simple. just follow the directions below from the north – Port Hardy or Campbell River or the directions below from the South, Vancouver or Victoria via Nanaimo

From the North:
We are about 9 kms south of Courtney. Take Hwy 19A (Cliffe St) south past Grassy Point Market, Past the Back Street Pub, Past the KingFisher Spa by about 1.3 kms to Spindrift Rd. Turn left at Spindrift, right at Kilmarnock.
From the South:
From Nanaimo turn right at Hwy 19 exit 101 then left at the Petro Canada Station. This is the Denman Island / Buckley Bay Turn-Off . Follow 19A north for about 12 kms. Turn right on Spindrift Rd. then right again on Kilmarnock.
You’ll find us at the corner of Kilmarnock and Inverness. Just look for the Green house with the raised cedar vegetable beds.
West Jet has near daily flights directly from Calgary and Edmonton to Comox.
Pacific Coastal Airlines is a smaller plane than WestJet offers, and it flies from Vancouver to Comox.
Island Express has air connections from Victoria to Comox and Abbotsford to Comox.
West Coast Air provides a unique means of air travel across the ocean. It has direct float plane flights from downtown Vancouver to Comox Marina and if you want a unique adventure, You can be in Vancouver in about 1 hour.

Travelling by Ferry is always an enjoyable form of transportation and if travelling from the USA, you can avoid border crossing traffic.
You can travel on the Anacortes, (Washington ferry to Sidney BC) or the Blackball Ferry (Victoria BC via Seattle WA)
Taking BC Ferries to Vancouver Island advises to make a reservation if you plan on travelling during peak seasons or holidays.

There are many day trips you can take from Tree Island B&B. Here are just a few with estimated driving times.
Buckley Bay ferry to Denman and Hornby Islands – 10 minutes
Little River ferry to Powel River and the Sunshine Coast – 30 minutes
Comox airport and Westjet connections – 25 minutes
Walking Trails, Beach Walks, Wineries, – between 5 – 30 minutes from most things you may want to do while in the Comox Valley.
